And, they criticize Iraq

New Orleans Marks Katrina Anniversary [link]

Iraq had the shock of war. Louisiana had a hurricane. Yet, the liberals condemn Iraqis while lamenting the Big Easy:

NEW ORLEANS - Prayers, protests and a lingering disgust with the government's response to Hurricane Katrina marked the disaster's second anniversary Wednesday, with a presidential visit doing little to mollify those still displaced by the storm.

Millions have been authorized for reconstruction in New Orleans.

"There was supposed to be all this money, but where'd it go? None of us got any," said Russ, whose house was the only restored home on an otherwise desolate block.

Good question. Before you all go off on Iraq, ask the governor and the mayor about what happened to the Federal largess doled out to your area.

The New Orleans area is a big money pit. I am renewing my call: Not one more dime of taxpayer money until there are some indictments.
