Greenhouse gases warming North America unevenly[1]
WASHINGTON — Climate change caused by greenhouse gases is warming the United States, though unevenly, government researchers said Thursday.
"The continent as a whole is warming, mostly as a result of the energy sources we are using," William J. Brennan, acting administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said at a briefing on the nation's climate since 1951.
Brennan is the director of the U.S. Climate Change Science Program.
Why is this significant? Because, being an agency dependant on government funding, continuation of same depends on finding something related to their charter. Can you imagine what would happen to their funding if they reported the fact that there has been no global warming since 1995?
